Set up an email address in the Outlook app on Android or iOS

Would you like to use your MostHosted email address in the Outlook app on your Android phone or iPhone? Follow the steps below for correct configuration.

Step 1: Install and open the Outlook app

• Download and open the Microsoft Outlook app from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
• Open the app and tap Add account.

Step 2: Enter your email address

• Enter your full email address, for example jouwnaam@jouwdomein.nl.
• Tap Add account or Continue.

Step 3: Choose the account type

• Choose IMAP when prompted. If necessary, tap Advanced settings or Set up manually if Outlook attempts automatic configuration.

Step 4: Incoming server settings (IMAP)

• IMAP server: mail.mosthosted.com
• Port: 993
• Encryption: SSL/TLS
• Username: your full email address
• Password: your email password

Step 5: Outgoing server settings (SMTP)

• SMTP server: mail.mosthosted.com
• Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)
• Encryption: SSL/TLS or STARTTLS
• Authentication required: Yes
• Username: your full email address
• Password: your email password

Step 6: Complete the configuration

• Choose whether you want to receive notifications for new email.
• You can now send and receive email using Outlook on your mobile device.
